The pronoun sí is used instead of él, ella, ellos or ellas when the subject and object are the same person.
Example:

Prepositional pronoun plural forms
Unlike singular form, plural prepositional pronouns have a masculine and a feminine form.

Examples:

Uses and exceptions
Prepositional pronouns replace the noun that comes immediately after the preposition.
Example:
- Mauricio recibió una carta de Lara. (Mauricio received a letter from Lara.)
- Mauricio recibió una carta de ella. (Mauricio received a letter from her.)
Anyway, the following prepositions have some exceptions in their use:
- a
- con
- de
- entre/excepto/incluso/menos/salvo/según
1. A + pronoun
When used with a, prepositional pronouns have the following uses:
emphasizing the direct object
Example:
A mí no me importa que se haya ido de España. (I do not care if he left Spain.)
making clear who the direct object or indirect object is
Example:
- Lo dijo a ella. (He said it to her.)
- Le gusta a él. (He likes her.)
2. Con + pronoun
When used with con, the pronouns mí, ti and sí appear in the following forms:

Examples:

- Trajeron sus pertenencias consigo. (They brought their belongings with themselves.)
3. De + pronoun
The preposition de (which indicates possession) cannot be used with mí and ti.
This type of construction is replaced by the correspondant possessive adjectives (mi, tu).
Example:
- YES: Mi madre se llama Lorenza. (My mother's name is Lorenza.)
- NO: La madre de mí se llama Lorenza. (The mother of me is called Lorenza.)
4. Entre... + pronoun
The subject pronouns yo and tú are used instead of mí and ti with the following prepositions:

Hi! I'm Andrés. I've been a language teacher since 2005. I'm also CELTA certified but more importantly, it's my experience as a teacher, as well as being a learner of Japanese (intermediate), Chinese (intermediate) and now Finnish (super basic, just started), that counts. I feel it's crucial to be in the students' shoes to better teach them and recommend resources, habits, and techniques that actually work.

Hi! I'm Andrés. I've been a language teacher since 2005. I'm also CELTA certified but more importantly, it's my experience as a teacher, as well as being a learner of Japanese (intermediate), Chinese (intermediate) and now Finnish (super basic, just started), that counts. I feel it's crucial to be in the students' shoes to better teach them and recommend resources, habits, and techniques that actually work.
My teaching methods include a lot of input through listening, texts, followed by guided practice based on the material. Grammar is taught in a complimentary way, but the main focus is input and communication. I follow CEFR topic order so that students can see how their knowledge scaffolds along.
The materials are picked from the internet depending on the student's needs and interests, be they work, travel, study, or just for fun. I like to include videos about different topics like culture, business, life hacks, news, interesting facts, science, love and relationships, among others, with intermediate/advanced students, and communicational dialogues with beginner students.

Jorge is a nice teacher with a long experience, in fact, he's been teaching since 2005 in different contexts. His method is very much focused on communication and conversation, always adapting to the student's level, needs and interests (his classes can deal with many different topics).
