Passionated about the French language and culture, I am sharing my love and experience through teaching.
I am graduated in FLE (Français Langue Etrangère)and I also have the diploma of DFA1 (Français Des Affaires).
I have been improving my linguistic knowledge by working with French companies. This professional experience let me learn and understand the use of the language in many different business contexts.

My name is Matilde, I'm 32 years old and I come from Montpellier. I have been living abroad for 10 years.
I have a Bachelor degree in applied foreign languages (LEA) as well as a Master degree in FLE (French as a foreign language). My mother tongue is French but I also speak Portuguese and English fluently. I have been teaching French for 8 years and European Portuguese for 6 years. First of all I started to teach as a French lecturer at the University of Passau in Germany. During this first experience I had the opportunity to: giving class to plenty of students, preparing classes, being a part of the conception and evaluation of orale and written examinations.
After that I taught in a "VHS '' which is a German language center offering evening classes for adults and teenagers. Since the health crisis I have been giving French and Portuguese online lessons. At the same time, I became a language trainer at "Lingoda", "Yes'n'you", "EF education First" and more recently "Le Cercle des Langues" .
Since I am a good listener, dialogue and trust are essential points for me.
I like to vary the types of documents and work on several skills simultaneously in order to make it motivating. I will also emphasize oral expression because I think that a language is above all a tool for communication and sharing.
I am perfectly aware that daring to speak is not easy. That's the reason why I will kindly encourage you to express yourself. I will always make sure that you feel comfortable and not afraid to make mistakes.

I have a degree as an interpreter for English and French so I know how hard it may be to learn a foreign language. I work as a free-lance interpreter and private English and French teacher.
