Our Italian conversation classes are flexible and practical, ideal for students who already studied Italian before on A1 or A2 level and need to become confident in speaking or writing.

Since most Italians will try to speak English with foreigners, it can be challenging to find somebody to practise Italian with. We see that many of our students therefore lack the practice needed to really gain the confidence required for daily work or private life.

How do conversation classes work?

Language learning is not a straight journey from point A to point B. From A2 onwards, it could be that you still struggle with some A1 topics while already understanding notions of B1 or even B2. This is why we customize your learning path and highly recommend private conversation classes for levels of B1 and up.

What if I am busy?

Our conversation classes have flexible schedules with a 48-hour cancellation notice. This means that with our private classes you can agree every week with your teacher when to meet. You just need to indicate your availability in our portal, and your teacher can schedule classes in your slots.

Your Italian classes are personalized!

In our online Italian conversation classes, you have the flexibility to discuss any topic that interests you. From work-related discussions to conversations about Italian culture, daily life, or current events, your classes will be tailored to your personal interests and goals. Although personalized, we do follow CILS / CELI guidelines for Italian as a foreign language.

Are these Italian conversation classes recommended for beginners?

For complete beginners or students who only studied with learning apps or books, we recommend our structured group courses to first gain a solid basis in Italian grammar and vocabulary. During our group courses you study Italian with a small group of maximum 5 other students. Group courses take 3 to 6 months per language level, with 2 or 4 lesson hours per week.

If you have a busy and changing schedule, we also offer A1 and A2 Italian private conversation classes, and you can invite a partner or colleagues to split the course costs. The advantage is, that the class schedule stays flexible.

If you have traveled or lived in Italy, you know there are many regional accents and dialects. This is why it is important to have a teacher who can also explain these regional differences.

• Teachers from Northern Italy: Learn Italian as spoken in regions such as Milan, Turin, or Bologna.
• Teachers from Central Italy: Experience Tuscan Italian, known as the basis of standard Italian.
• Teachers from Southern Italy: Practice with teachers from Naples, Sicily, or Calabria, and get familiar with softer southern accents.

1. Indicate Your Availability: Let us know when you’re available to start your lessons and how often you’d like to study.
2. Choose Your Study Intensity: Decide on the frequency of your lessons and the pace that works best for you – whether intensive or more relaxed.
3. Meet Your Teacher: After we know your availability and study intensity, we will match you with a teacher from Italy. You’ll meet your teacher for an introductory session, and then you can start learning!
