Spanish possessive pronoun practice quiz
Please keep in mind that:
- Possessive pronouns replace a noun preceded by a possessive adjective
- Each possessive pronoun has four forms that must agree in gender and number with the noun they replace
- They are the same as the long forms of possessive adjectives, but are always used with the definite article.
Me gusta su foto (I like his picture.)
Me gusta la suya.
Me gusta las suyas.
No quieren probar mi receta. (They do not want to try my recipe.)
No quieren probar la mía.
No quieren probar la suya.
Tus sábanas son de algodón. (Your bedsheets are made of cotton.)
Las tuyas son de algodón.
La tuya son de algodón.
Prefiero nuestra oficina. (I prefer our office.)
Prefiero la nuestra.

Mi puerta está abierta. (My door is open.)

Subo las mías al avión.
Subo la mía al avión.
Prefiero escuchar tus discos. (I prefer listening to your CDs.)
