Exercise to practice Dutch present tense (regular verbs)
Fill in the right conjugation of the Dutch regular verb according to the subject in the present tense.
Keep the extra rules in mind while doing the exercise:
- Long vowel verbs have long vowel stems.
- The stem never ends with two identical consonants, therefore, the last one will just disappear.
- The stem cannot end in v or z.
- Infinitives that end on '-iën' have a stem that ends on '-ie’.

Wij vandaag van 9 tot 17 uur. (werken) (We work from 9 am to 5 pm today.)
