İn the nominative case, the nouns have no suffix except the plural suffixes (-ler, -lar).

When to use the nominative case?

Nouns in the nominative case usually act as the subject or the indefinite object in the items of the sentence. The subject and the indefinite object can be found as an answer to the questions 'Kim?' (Who?) and 'Ne?' (What?)

The nominative case with the plural form

When the last vowel of the noun is one of the following vowels ( -a ,- ı, -o, -u ), the '-lar' suffix is used and when the last vowel of the noun is one of the vowels (-e,- i, -ö, -ü ) the '-ler' suffix is used.
