Hi everyone!

My name is Abigail Sosa. I'm a Mexican student living in Belgium at the moment. I study Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Ghent and I teach Spanish aside.

I started teaching Spanish almost 5 years ago and as a result of this, I fell completly in love with language education and speech.

I have worked with children, teenagers and adults (also students with ADHD of Autism) in groups of levels or in private classes. My teaching methods always vary depending of the student that I have because not everyone learns at the same manner nor at the same rythm; with some students you need to work slower and with others faster; some students are more visual, others are more auditory or others are more verbal. However, I always teach the four elements that are crucial in order to master a language which are: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.

How do I do this?

With a previously planning of the class. This means choosing the activies, the topics or exercices to work during the class. They could be a video, a text or exercices of gramatica among others. Alongside we use, of course, a book: Aula Internacional. I share all the material via GoogleDrive.

My classes are very relaxed and I am very flexibel. The important thing is to enjoy what we are learning! I hope we see each other very soon, and please, don't hesitate to contact me in case you have more questions.

Greetings and a big hug dear future students,

Abi

It is in this context, that I have studied and obtained my degrees/certificates in Spanish with Management BA, CELTA, Classroom Management, Technology & Learning Design MA.
Over the years, I have taught on various ESL/TESOL programmes (blended), and the students range from teens - adults (A1 - C2) from regional and International countries. Additionally, I taught at a few Universities in Colombia, South America as a Language Instructor.

As a Language Educator, I consider myself to possess many traits relevant to such a profession. Among them:- a good listener, having patience when dealing with challenges within the teaching & learning environment, dedicated and an engaging personality.

My approach to the teaching and learning environment is based on the Communicative & Integrative methods. In this regard, students are encourage to utilize their prior/background knowledge and experiences to support new knowledge being received. Therefore, my sessions are tailor-made for the student's needs via the use of authentic & creative materials (eg. photographs, news clips, songs, videos, role-plays, discussions, interactive activities etc.) to reflect real life contexts.

Hey everyone!

My name is Ashlyn, and I am a native English speaker from New Zealand :) I love to create lessons for my students to help them make their English language journey as enjoyable as possible! I am an online university student studying history and social anthropology.

I have two years of teaching experience in private English language schools, and I also have a CELTA certificate. Therefore, I know how to teach English effectively and create lessons to practice speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.

I love to use technology in the classroom, and I always create fun and colourful PowerPoint presentations to guide us through the lesson. I am always open to suggestions from my students. If you want to focus more on certain topics or activities, I am happy to make that possible for you.

I’m French, currently living in the Netherlands.

I lived in Paris for almost twenty years, and I know very well my country (and of course my language, French, my mother tongue). I taught French for two years in Spain, conversation class about culture essentially.

In Paris, I was Spanish teacher, I have the Agregation degree which is the highest degree for teaching in France, I'm bilingual. I've participated too in several editorial projects about Spanish teaching and DELE preparation.

I have a Spanish Studies Master and I'm currently doing a research about the Spanish and Sefardi Judaism.

I have a French as foreign language and a Religious Studies Masters too.

I enjoy sharing what I know. I’m a very eclectic person and curious about everything. To give you an idea, my interest (and sometimes hobbies) are: philosophy, spirituality and religions in general, meditation, psychology and psychoanalysis, history, geography, literature, writing (in particular creative writing, and I’m used to write everyday), art (painting, photography), sciences (vulgarisation level) and cultural matters in general. I travel a lot (as a backpacker), sometimes by foot, and the places I know well are France, the Netherlands, Italy and Serbia.

One of my qualities is my capacity of adaptation, I enjoy preparing documents to help the student to acquire autonomy, but I love speaking too, and it’s the best way to learn a language.

I'm waiting for your message, please when contact me, explain quickly who you are, why you want to study French and what you are looking for exactly.

See you soon.

My aim is to help as many people achieve their goal of learning English. 10+ years of tutoring experience(classroom and 1-1). Have taught from kindergarten to senior secondary as well as doing communication and pronunciation correction with adults.
I will start were you are … ABC's, colours, numbers and beginner reading OR reading with comprehension, grammar and sentence structure or just plain communication focusing on pronunciation, tenses, and general grammar.
For the little ones I use flash cards, puppets, star chart, etc to keep them involved and interested in the lesson. For the older students I find out where their interests lay, and what their requirements are, and work my lessons around that. As long as you are interested, you will learn.

Exploiting opportunities and finding solutions is my biggest motivation. For me, it is central to being able to mean something to fellow human beings. I am decisive, decisive and persuasive. I am also consultative, empathetic and fair. Integrity is very important to me. As a connector, I am focused on achieving cohesion and enthusiasm within the lessons and I ensure a good atmosphere. I will motivate others to listen to each other, to use each other's qualities and to compliment each other. I ensure involvement and loyalty in the lessons. I have extensive experience in teaching. Since February 2018 I have been appointed as a language teacher at the Language Center at the University of Groningen and I am also a certified teacher NT2. I am also certified as an English teacher. For NT students I use Taalcomplete and for highly educated students Dutch in gait/Dutch in action/the jump and the final. For Arabic interested I use Alif baa and Alkitaab. In the first lesson you will receive more information about the procedure. After all, language is the connection between us all.

Hi everyone! My name is Morena a passionate traveller and a languages enthusiast!
My mother tongue is Italian, and I was born and raised in the beautiful region of Marche in central Italy. I lived abroad for 15 years, and spent 12 of them in the wonderful London.
I am a certified Celta teacher at Strafford House School in London and I have recently obtained the Ditals certification from the University of Siena for teaching Italian as a foreign language.

What are my lessons like? I normally teach students of all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced). I love to use everyday situations to teach common expressions useful for communication as well as vocabulary and grammar. I adapt different teaching methods and approaches according to my students' learning needs, interests and background. I can help you with exam preparation (CILS, CELI, PLIDA, and all Cambridge or IELTS exams), also I can create business or technical language lessons if you have this need.
I provide tailor-made lessons because I believe that every student is different and needs a special and fun method to learn a language with a purpose. If you would like help please contact me with your questions or goal, then we can discuss the best strategy and flexible plan to become fluent in Italian or English! Speak soon. Ciao, a presto!

Hello! I'm Sandra from Cape Town, a native English speaker with Cambridge certification to teach English as a second language. I have a Master's degree in English with over 10 years' experience as an English language editor and freelance writer. Tell me your goals or interests and I will create lessons around them. I will help you get you ready for any language proficiency exam (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS.) If you need to speak English in a Business or Medical context, I have the materials and the knowledge to improve your fluency. I teach ALL levels for ALL purposes Age 12 years and up. Please state your city/country/time zone in the lesson request. It is helpful if you test your current English level on this website or on the many other free online tests so that we can start at the right level straightaway. We CAN meet free of charge (just message me) to discuss your learning needs/my teaching methods, but I do not offer free lessons.

NB If you are writing a test like IELTS or TOEFL 'in a month or two' and you need to obtain a minimum score to enter a university, remember that according to education bodies like British Council and Cambridge English, it takes an average of 120-130 lesson hours to move from one level or band to the next. So with 'one or two' months, you need to already be at B2 or Upper Intermediate level to start preparing.
