Katarína is a very nice and knowledgeable teacher. She always was on time, had well prepared the materials and knows how to explain the Slovak language to a novice. However, I am sure she will also be a good teacher for more advanced speakers.
Hi! I’m Yasmina, a professional German, English, Russian and Slovak teacher for adults and teenagers. I am fluent in 4 foreign languages and I have sucessfuly passed C2 level exams for English and German. I have a Masters degree in foreign languages and cultures from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. During my studies I have done a couple of exchanges abroad (Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Qatar, Iceland, etc).
I have lived in 4 countries, therefore I know how challenging it may be - to learn and SPEAK foreign language afterwards. I’ve been teaching and learning languages for more than 8 years (3 years of teaching experience). I am absolutely sure, that your learning process starts, when you begin to speak. Therefore my lessons are mainly conversational, but you would need to do your homework at home :)
As a result, we can use your new knowledge during the lesson. Language learning is fun and a lot of hard work at the same time. But if you know what to do, than the process becomes much easier and enjoyable.
Here is the key information on the lessons/courses:
1. Lessons are tailored to your needs
2. All materials are provided
3. Before we start, during the trial lesson, I will test you level and we will develop a plan in order to reach your goal as soon as possible.
Any questions? Don’t hesitate to ask me!
All the best,
Yasmina organizes the lessons in a varied, easy-to-understand and competent manner, is always punctual and attentive. She also incorporates information about the country (recipes, music, ...) and always thinks of something new - I like it when the learning is playful. Yasmina gladly and patiently answers questions, even those that concern the mentality or dealing with Slovaks (especially Slovakian mother-in-law ...). Clear recommendation!
My name is Daniela and I am a qualified Italian language teacher! I teach Italian and English at school, and Spanish and French as a freelancer. I love foreign languages, translating, reading and listening to music. Are you ready to start your language learning path with me? We are going to learn many things and to talk a lot! Don’t worry if you’ve never studied the language before: everyone can attend my classes – from beginner to advanced students. You just need passion for what you're going to do and... a good Internet connection. Materials are provided by me!
See you online!
Daniela is a wonderful teacher. I really had difficulty properly expressing myself in Italian. Daniela not only tought me the basic rules of Italian grammar, but more importantly, during our many conversations in Italian, she helped me express myself much better and with confidence. I still have some path to go, particulalry deepening my knowledge of grammar. The next phase that I will start in a couple of months will focus on perfectionning that. I hope Daniela will find the time to work with me again

I am a med student, also I am an active Red Cross volunteer. I worked with both children and adults. If you need some help with reading, listening, writing or speaking in Serbian or English, feel free to contact me. I am looking forward to meeting you. :)
She is a kind girl , professional and will give you attention and everything you need . Was a great lesson.
Hello everyone! My name is Matias Pizarro, but you can call me Matt. I am 30 years old, and I am from Argentina.
At first, teaching online was a challenge, not for the knowledge, the didactic or the way to get to students, but for the whole new set of resources at my disposal and how to use them effectively. The variety of tricks with the camera, magic, puppets, the limit was my imagination; that feeling was really overwhelming. But, as I said at first, I took this as a challenge, a new way of expanding my inner resourses and finally, widening my understanding about teaching.
Working with kids was the most important and significant choice in my professional career as a teacher, because I discovered the real meaning of being an educator. I understood that it's not just about teaching the subject, but guiding and supporting students; being an inspiring person. I like to comprehend teaching by a very beautiful phrase that stands: Be the person that you needed when you were young.
If you choose me as your teacher, I promise that you will learn a lot of things while having a great time together!
See you in our class! Bye!
Matias Alejandro has 10 years of experience in teaching English and Spanish to people of all ages and cultures. During his lessons he will use video and books to help you achieve your goals.

Bonjour! Veux-tu apprendre français? ou l'améliorer?
My classes are structured according to my students' needs, I use different teaching methods and I rely on listening each of my students' expectations and goals. Dynamism and constant learning are my purposes in my classes.
I have worked as a French teacher for more than ten years.
I have academic studies in English and French from Montréal, Canada, where I lived for six years.
I learned French at an early age in immersion in a French-speaking region and I studied French formally for 11 years, obtaining a native level.
I’ve worked on my French with Natalia for several weeks now, and I’m enjoying it a lot. I speak a lot during the lessons, which is exactly what I need at the moment. There is always a good balance of working on grammar and practising conversation. I’m looking forward to continue my lessons over the next few months :)
Eline is very motivated and committed to improve her French. She already speaks and writes very good and we are working towards achieving an advanced level of French. It has been very nice working with her!
I am a certified English/Arabic/French/Italian teacher with two degrees in Interpreting and Translation and three Cambridge Teacher Trainings (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA). I am currently enrolled in the DELTA program (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) which is the highest English teacher training worldwide recognized.
At the beginning of my classes, it is important to evaluate students' needs and aims and in order to do that, I will send a "needs' analysis" so that I can better help you with your learning.
I mainly use Zoom as teaching platform because I think it is much better than Skype or Microsoft Teams because it allows a much better student-teacher interaction pattern.
According to Steven Krashen, one of the most renown linguist and education experts: "The best methods are therefore those that supply 'comprehensible input' in low anxiety situations, containing messages that students really want to hear. These methods do not force early production in the second language but allow students to produce when they are 'ready', recognizing that improvement comes from supplying communicative and comprehensible input, and not from forcing and correcting production".
Personally, I think that this is the right approach to teach because as a teacher we need to create a safe environment for our students, lower their effective filter so they can perform at their best potential.
I realized after years of experience as a languages student and teacher that several countries not just my country (Italy) have been using a teaching methodology which is obsolete and not suitable for students' needs and aims. The 80-20 rule is the sure way to achieve this goal. Can you guess which part is the student's one? The 80 of course, you are the one who needs to improve, to talk and learn. We as teachers we are doing whatever it takes to guide you through the process.
During my experience as a teacher I worked with teenagers, university students and adults. I had the pleasure to teach Arabic to university students who needed further assistance for their exams. I taught to adults’ businessmen who needed to learn the basis of Arabic because of their work. I taught French and English to teenagers and university students that needed further help with their exams or simply to improve their listening and speaking skills. I have also experience in teaching Business English.
Enrico is an experienced teacher, that tries to create engaging and active lessons for his students. He has experience with students of different nationalities, and he shapes each lesson with the intent of answering to the students' necessities.
As non-native parents it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or to help with the fluency of the new language. Who wants some extra exercise for his children? I can help you with that. As their vocabulary becomes more and more extensive and their sentences become increasingly fluid, your children will get more and more self-confident. To speak well the Dutch language will surely benefit them now and later.
Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that.
Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why also adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together.
Liesbet's teaching is progressive and adapted to the level of the student. His working method is very efficient, dynamic and focused on areas for improvement. The material used is varied: texts, videos, grammar exercises, pronunciation and vocabularies (synonyms, antonyms, nuances, etc.). The lessons are always different and never look like. Punctuality and seriousness. I highly recommend.
I have been teaching for a long time both for preparing official exams or for improving communication and writing skills.
I am also a translator, so I use this skill to understand better my students' needs.
I always try to adapt and design a personalised method to reach theirs aims. I normally use project-based activities that I design myself to make learners know the language at different levels and that they can be able to communicate easily.
Mari is a very nice, open and communicative person to speak with. She does a great job at connecting with her students while also providing high quality classes. I can definitely recommend her!
Hi, I am Ana! I am a professional Romanian as a foreign language teacher! If you want to learn Romanian in an easy, fun and efficient way, you’ve done the first step. I simply love teaching Romanian and I’m looking forward to sharing my enthusiasm for languages with you. I have experience in learning foreign languages, so I understand the challenge.
I’ve started teaching Romanian as a foreign language in 2010 at the Faculty of Letters in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, and my teaching approach is really friendly and focused on all your needs. I have worked with people from all over the world and I know very well how to make the process of learning Romanian a very pleasant experience.
I speak several languages (English, French, Spanish) and I keep learning some (German, Polish and Portuguese) so I am aware of how fun and also frustrating (at times) the process can be.
For me, learning a language is like falling in love, you get to discover details and awesome facts about one culture and mentality.
If you want to learn Romanian, I will make sure you will enjoy it!
Ana is an excellent professional Ph.D. teacher of Romanian. In her lessons she uses quality learning materials. During our 30+ lessons she was always on time and checked and corrected every detail in my homework. I was able to attain the levels A1 and A2 and start learning towards the level B1 in Romanian. I recommend Ana's lessons to everyone who wants to learn Romanian in an efficient and friendly manner.
Linda is a nice, flexible and professional teacher. She is always well prepared for the lesson and she can explain Dutch grammar very well. I enjoy learning with Linda because I can also choose the topics that interest me the most.
