I am a local Hong Konger. Cantonese and traditional Chinese is my native language. I am living and studying in Taiwan now. Before that, I have... been teaching Chinese in Vietnamese for 2 years. That's why I can speak both 3 languages. I will focus on the pronunication, grammar and oral skills. For exmaples, most of foreigners feel difficult on the tones. I will give you some tips such as read the word with the music sheet. For oral skill, I will tell you when should you use the sentence rather than just read that and without any background information. For example, in English, we will say "May I have a bill". In Cantonese, it should be "excuse me, pay the bill", "'唔該，埋單 m4 goi1, maai4 daan" In Mandarin, it should be " hello, buy the bill" 你好，买单(買單) nǐhǎo，mǎidān“ . My name is Mariëlle and I am 22 years old. I live in Aruba. I graduated last year from the ITEPS course at the NHL Stenden Unitversity of Applied Sciences in Meppel. ITEPS stands for: International Teacher Education for Primary Schools. I followed the combined course where I was educated to become a teacher for both Dutch schools and international schools. During my studies, I have had a lot of practice teaching the Dutch and English language, since I had to do a lot of teaching practices at Dutch national schools and International schools all around the world.
At the moment, I work at a local school in Aruba. The instructional language is Dutch, but for almost all of my students Dutch is not their first language. This has resulted in me having experience with teaching Dutch as a second language.

So far, I have had 23 classes with Angel. Communication has, from the beginning on, been very smooth. Angel is always super punctual and correct. What I enjoy the most are the more personalized classes. Angel got to know that I like to sing/play music so he taught me two Bulgarian songs. It was a nice challenge.
