I am a local Hong Konger. Cantonese and traditional Chinese is my native language. I am living and studying in Taiwan now. Before that, I have... been teaching Chinese in Vietnamese for 2 years. That's why I can speak both 3 languages. I will focus on the pronunication, grammar and oral skills. For exmaples, most of foreigners feel difficult on the tones. I will give you some tips such as read the word with the music sheet. For oral skill, I will tell you when should you use the sentence rather than just read that and without any background information. For example, in English, we will say "May I have a bill". In Cantonese, it should be "excuse me, pay the bill", "'唔該，埋單 m4 goi1, maai4 daan" In Mandarin, it should be " hello, buy the bill" 你好，买单(買單) nǐhǎo，mǎidān“ . I found CoLanguage accidentally when I was searching for online private lessons to improve my spanish skills which had diminished a bit since my stay abroad two years ago (B2+ level). After the free trial with Noelia (where we talked about my objectives and her learning methods and got to know each other) I was already so blessed and motivated! Her lessons are well-structured, she is really flexible, patient, reacts to sentences spoken and directly helps to rephrase mistakes/sentences. Hi! I live in Germany since 2014, I live in the Frankfurt am Main area. I teach German to refugees since the beginning of 2017 and I have been teaching Dutch at several language schools, at peoples homes and in-house at several companies. I passed the C1-level Test for German at the Goethe Institut.
It is my goal to adapt my lessons as much as possible to the wishes of the student. This means that, besides offering regular learning methods, I am open to initiatives like talking about subjects that are of interest to the student, for example reading and discussing articles, watching and discussing educational videos and/or current happenings in the world.

The educational field has always been my passion. Since I was a student in the UK doing my BA degree in English Literature, I started volunteering to teach secondary school students and support them to feel more confident in school. I graduated from Newcastle University (UK) in 2006 doing my first Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and TESOL after getting my CELTA (Cambridge certificate in language teaching) certificate as well from Durham University, UK. I worked as a TOEFL/IELTS teacher and Business English trainer for seven years. I was entitled to a supervisory position as a head of department in a language institute, so I decided to do my MBA at Wales University to enhance my skills in the planning training materials to teach Business English and building a professional community for teachers.
