Hello! My name is Emilia and I am an experienced language tutor and translator from/to Bulgarian, Spanish, English and Dutch. My biggest passion are foreign languages and I have passed this passion to many of my students throughout the years. Despite the fact I have a Master degree in Economics and International Business and I have worked few years as an economist, my heart always takes me back to my teaching and translation jobs. With 20 years of teaching experience, a great level of patience and dedication to my work, and a great number of happy students, I am here to help you learn Bulgarian and Spanish at your own pace and convenience. Hola, qué tal!I have always enjoyed working with languages, culture, education and people. I am originally from Venezuela so Spanish is my native language and I have been living in Belgium since 2009. My degree as Master in Industrial Sciences is equated here.I am a teacher and since 2018 I have been teaching Spanish to adults. I am able to boost the self-confidence of my students. My lessons are for absolute beginners (direction level 1 and 2), intermediate (direction level 3) and advanced (direction level 4). Conversation is also possible. I focus on the four most important skills: speaking skills; listening skills, writing skills and reading skills. And also on grammar and spontaneous communication.Teaching and language are just my passion and I would like to teach it to others. I work with adults and seniors, but know that every person learns in a different way. Pleasure in learning and daring to communicate are paramount to me: We use Spanish book and workbook; audio material (Spanish songs), card games and more!

I teach both adults and children. I am an online Spanish teacher certified by international ELE and I have been teaching Spanish since 2020. I have worked teaching Spanish full time all these years.

Nacida y criada en Suiza, de madre española y padre italiano, hablo con fluidez cuatro idiomas (IT, ES, EN, F). Para mí es algo natural vivir en un entorno multicultural y siempre me ha encantado viajar y conocer nuevas lenguas y culturas. Esta pasión me llevó a vivir en Australia durante diez años, donde pude perfeccionar mis conocimientos de inglés.
Obtuve el certificado EUROLTA para la enseñanza de idiomas a adultos y, durante algunos años, impartí clases de italiano, español e inglés en una escuela privada en Suiza.
Durante quince años me he dedicado a proyectos de movilidad europea (Erasmus+ y Eurodyssée), organizando estancias en el extranjero para jóvenes titulados e interactuando en diferentes idiomas con colaboradores de todo el mundo.
Hace dos años me mudé a España para reconectar con mis raíces andaluzas y disfrutar de la calidad de vida que ofrece este lugar. Dada mi pasión y amplia experiencia con los idiomas, sentí el deseo de dedicarme a la traducción y a la enseñanza de las lenguas que tanto amo. Estoy convencida de que, hoy en día, el conocimiento de idiomas es una ventaja muy valiosa para viajar, conocer e interactuar con personas de otros países y culturas. Por experiencia propia, aprender un idioma extranjero es una experiencia muy enriquecedora tanto a nivel personal como profesional. Por eso quiero compartir mis conocimientos lingüísticos para que otros también puedan vivir esta experiencia tan maravillosa y única.

I’ve been living in France since 2012, where I work as a fully qualified Spanish teacher at the university level, with up-to-date training.I have extensive experience preparing students for DELE, SIELE, Bright, and CLOE exams, as well as general Spanish practice.I specialize in helping students improve their Spanish pronunciation and grammar, assisting many in developing a more natural and fluid way of speaking.I have worked for various universities and associations for over 10 years. Currently, I teach online for CoLanguage and engineering schools in France, mainly to university and high school students.My sessions focus on encouraging students to use Spanish effectively, building their confidence, and helping them find their own natural way of expressing themselves in my language.

In recent years I have worked as an Academic Director at a Language School in northern Spain. My job duties there included designing intensive Spanish & English courses for beginners’, intermediate and advanced levels, as well as teaching both on-site and via Skype. This constant interest has allowed me to become familiar with techniques and tools that are essential in today´s second language learning, such as the materials used by the Cervantes Institute and the most renowned publications and blogs in the field of language teaching. Most particularly, I have made extensive use of audiovisuals and creative writing activities in order to develop consistent, effective courses. As an on-line teacher, I have steadily used different technology applications in language learning. My tasks as a teacher included setting homework and giving feedback to my students, according to their needs, on a regular basis, as well as keeping accurate register of their attendance and progress. Graduated in Hispanic Philology and Masters in Applied French, I have always kept up with my teaching training and have recently completed a Cambridge CELTA course for English teachers This further training has provided me with the familiarity to different teaching methodologies, which have proven to be extremely useful in my classes. My hobbies: art cinema, hiking, reading and watching and playing basketball.
