Hello, I'm offering informal Dutch and English lessons based on conversation and will conduct my lessons for as much as possible in the target... language. I can explain some grammar too if needed and have articles and books ready to read from. This again will be adjusted to your proficiency. But of course if you'd like to focus on a topic which has your interest that is possible as well. This makes it more personal and more fun. I've been teaching for about a year now on another platform to students from all over the world and really enjoy having the experience again as I used to be a vocal coach back in the days when I attended conservatory in the Netherlands. As non-native parents it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or to help with the fluency of the new language. Who wants some... extra exercise for his children? I can help you with that. As their vocabulary becomes more and more extensive and their sentences become increasingly fluid, your children will get more and more self-confident. To speak well the Dutch language will surely benefit them now and later. Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that. Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why also adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together. Read more

Ciao! My name is Alice and I was born and raised in a small village in the North of Italy, near Venice. My passion for languages started at high... school, when I learned English, French and Spanish. Then I decided to focus on my second passion, that is literature, so I got a bachelor degree in Italian Literature. After my degree I moved to Berlin, where I learned German for a year. In Berlin I also understood that I wanted to become an Italian teacher, in order to combine my passion for languages with my interest for literature! So I moved back to Venice and now I’m attending a master degree in language sciences with a focus on language teaching, but I’m first of all myself a language learner, as I study German, which I can speak quite fluently now. If you are looking for a friendly and calm teacher that knows the struggle of communicating in a foreign language, you have found the right person! During my carrier as a language learner, I have acquired some skills that I can teach you, with a focus on overcoming the fear of speaking in a foreign language and I can also help you feel more confident when interacting with Italian native speakers. I can deal with different topics, but my main interests remain culture, literature, dialects and, naturally!, food. After a first free trial lesson, in which we would get to know each other, I can offer you a structured learning path, according to your needs, interests, learning objectives and learning style. The lessons will be mainly in Italian, but if some more explanations are needed, I can speak English, German and Spanish as well. I am a certified examiner for CELI, I can prepare you for this test. I’m French, currently living in the Netherlands. I lived in Paris for almost twenty years, and I know very well my country (and of course... my language, French, my mother tongue). I taught French for two years in Spain, conversation class about culture essentially. In Paris, I was Spanish teacher, I have the Agregation degree which is the highest degree for teaching in France, I'm bilingual. I've participated too in several editorial projects about Spanish teaching and DELE preparation. I have a Spanish Studies Master and I'm currently doing a research about the Spanish and Sefardi Judaism. I have a French as foreign language and a Religious Studies Masters too. I enjoy sharing what I know. I’m a very eclectic person and curious about everything. To give you an idea, my interest (and sometimes hobbies) are: philosophy, spirituality and religions in general, meditation, psychology and psychoanalysis, history, geography, literature, writing (in particular creative writing, and I’m used to write everyday), art (painting, photography), sciences (vulgarisation level) and cultural matters in general. I travel a lot (as a backpacker), sometimes by foot, and the places I know well are France, the Netherlands, Italy and Serbia. One of my qualities is my capacity of adaptation, I enjoy preparing documents to help the student to acquire autonomy, but I love speaking too, and it’s the best way to learn a language. I'm waiting for your message, please when contact me, explain quickly who you are, why you want to study French and what you are looking for exactly. See you soon. Read more
