Elena is an excellent, experienced teacher. A true professional. She is patient with my beginner-level Italian language skills. She will quickly assess your skill level (or lack thereof) and present an appropriate level of instruction to ensure rapid growth. She will encourage you to use Italian during lessons to expedite your learning curve. I highly recommend her.

When I think of how I was when I first started lessons with Elena, it seems like another person. Certain grammar that I had learned but never actually used entered my speech and my writing. From floundering around picking words out of the air at random and hurriedly scribbling them down, I now have a much calmer and more controlled approach. I still make mistakes, undeniably, but they are far fewer than when I started and I now feel that I am capable of passing the exam.

Elena is a great teacher. She adapts really well to the individual level and needs of the student and easily identifies whatever it is you are struggling with. Elena teaches as a profession, and this really makes a big difference. She explains very clearly and the lessons are always fun.

Elena is absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful in preparing me at short notice for a PLIDA B2 exam. Great teacher, lovely person and I'd highly reccommend her to anyone in need of suport in learning italian.
