Let's have fun learning about Spanish and its culture! I am passionate about Spanish and its culture and I always try to transmit it to my... students to have a very pleasant experience together, accompanied and adapted to their learning needs. During the last 15 years, I have consolidated a vast professional experience between Mexico, France, Spain and Canada in the teaching of Communication, History, Geography and, in particular, with regard to Spanish and Ibero-American culture. I have taught face-to-face and online both to young people and adults in public and private educational institutions of the middle and higher levels in those countries. In my method it is very important for me to identify the strengths and points to improve in each of my students in order to put them in relation to their abilities. Thus, a student who may have stronger listening skills than speaking, we could emphasize his correct understanding of a word or an expression through at least two different pronunciations. So learn your expression and then practice them correctly orally and with the confidence of being accompanied to continue to advance your own developing speaking skills. Hello! I am a native English teacher from Texas that has been living in Spain for the past three years teaching English. I have a university... degree in Geography but I also possess both the CELTA and TEFL teaching certificates. I speak Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese so there won't be any problems with communication. I have experience teaching kids, teenagers and adults in public/private schools, language academies and private English classes. Currently I am teaching a C1 class, and two classes with kids aged 9 to 13 years old. I teach using Cambridge and Oxford books that I provide my students. My main goal is for you to feel comfortable speaking English while at the same time understanding the language! Grammar is also important but we will learn it on the way to being confident English speakers.
