I am an experienced Russian Teacher. I have taught Russian for about 9 years, first in Kiev, Ukraine, then in Geneva, Switzerland. Nowadays,... I work like a Russian tutor in the DC area. I teach Russian as a foreign language. I can offer Russian classes for kids and adults. The general classes for children and teenagers consists of a multifaceted curriculum, designed to develop the four primary language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking. I use a wide range of study materials , specifically created for bilingual children. The choice of materials may vary depending on child’s level of Russian language, which is determined during the first lesson with the aid of an assessment test for bilingual children and teenagers. Also I offer a conversational course that will help improve and develop the student’s communication skills in various areas of everyday life. Bilingual children and teens living abroad often lack the opportunity to fully master the rich variety of communicative possibilities presented by the Russian language. Read more
