Hello everyone! My name’s Andrew, a qualified teacher of English and Spanish. I’m also interpreter of Spanish, French, and Catalan. I... translate Italian and Portuguese too, and speak a little German. I’ve taught in London and Oxford, but my home for many years has been Spain, where I’ve taught in academies including my own, companies, and the University. My teaching approach is communicative, practical, meaningful, and useful, always adapting the class to the student’s interests and level. My forte in teaching is explaining concepts quickly and clearly. I am a specialist in English and Spanish for Business, Law, Medicine, Engineering and Mechanics. In my free time, I like to go swimming, sailing and canoeing. Students say they learn a lot in little time from a knowledgeable teacher and linguist. I would love to be your teacher too. Please get in touch! Read more
I've graduated English Studies and studied a year in UK. I'm passionate about laguages and I'm sure of the power of dedicatio and determination... to achieve anything (e.g. to achieve speaking a language). I've been teaching for 3 years now to children and adults. All my experiences have been wonderful and unique, since each person has different interests and skills. Learning a language involves many aspects, like knowing daily expressions, but also it's important to pay attention to cultural elements, besides listening and pronunciation. Tha's why I don't focus on a particular part of a language, I always try to include different teaching methods. I really think that innovation makes the class funnier. Read more
Hey there! I'm Mari and I'm from Murcia (Spain). I'm a English Language, Linguistics & Literature graduate with a Master's Degree in... Teaching Training. I also studied in London for a year, being part of an Erasmus programme and stay. I also have experience as a language teacher (of course!). I worked for 2 years and 2 months in an academy. My job consisted in preparing students for Cambridge examinations (KET, PET, FCE and CAE), giving private lessons to Secondary/university students who needed help with the subject of English, giving conversation/speaking lessons with adults who wanted a more practical and communicative approach, and teaching business courses for adults. I have also worked as an aupair in London (as you can see, I have plenty of experience with teenagers!), and as a translator for particular professionals who needed translations of legal, scientific and technical documents. Currently I'm working as a translator and collaborator of the websites Saber Es Práctico and Learner Trip. My teaching method consists of the one that the student needs and asks for. It all depends on the student's needs. Regarding learning materials, I have plenty of resources (books, worksheets, more innovative ones like videos or websites, and my own materials). The thing with a language is that you can learn it using everything! If you're interested in my lessons, don't hesitate to contact me! Read more
