I'm Sara, I'm a native Italian speaker and I speak English, Japanese and Russian. My offers: Japanese language course (in Italian and... I have been offering private Japanese language lessons for 4 years and Italian lessons for 3 years. Between grammar basics and notions about Japanese and/or Italian culture, I will help you improve your knowledge. My experience: Graduated from the Faculty of Linguistic Mediation in Milan, there I studied Russian and Japanese languages. I thoroughly studied the grammar of these two languages and the fascinating culture and history of Japan and Russia. I began my career as a private teacher with the teaching of the Japanese language, initially learned by self-taught and during my year in Japan with the AFS scholarship (2018-2019) at the Kokusai Joho koko institute in Sapporo, then I deepened my knowledge in the following years at university. I did a 5-month Erasmus period in Poland, where I was able to deepen my knowledge of the Russian language by studying at the Russian and Polish philology department of the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow. During my years of experience with the Japanese language and its teaching, I was able to deepen my knowledge in teaching and develop new teaching methods, embarking on a new path offering Italian lessons for foreigners in English and English lessons for Italians. In my years of teaching I have acquired new skills and developed new teaching methods based on students' abilities and experiences. So my lessons are half about learning the language and half about different cultural aspects that we find interesting and unique. But at the beginning, we discuss what your learning goal is. If you really want to focus on grammar, we can do that; if you want to learn about culture, that is also super fun to do. I am a very well-travelled and experienced entrepreneur. I speak 7 languages, of which four fluently. It would my pleasure to help you improve... your Japanese, Portuguese or Dutch (or English, for that matter). In the past I've done quite a bit of teaching. For example, in Japan and the Netherlands I taught English to Japanese businesspeople. In addition, I have taught Japanese Culture to HBO (polytechnic) students and to employees of big corporates in the Netherlands. As an entrepreneur I have also supervised many interns at WO (academic), HBO (polytechnic) and MBO (vocational school) levels. In the past 20 years I managed my own ice cream factory and simultaneously worked as a production supervisor Japanese television throughout Europe. In the course of these activities, I always benefitted greatly from my language skills. Although I love sharing and transferring knowledge, I am not your typical teacher. That is why I prefer to teach advanced or intermediate students of the abovementioned languages, rather than beginners.
