Hello, my name is Veronika and I am a student in Florence at the academy of fine arts. I have been in Italy for three years and I really like... the Italian language. In school i learned english and during journeys i used to speak a lot of english so i'm also able to teach in english. I am from Germany so I am a German native speaker. I have already taught German to some of my friends and would love to teach my language to more people as well. At the beginning I would like to do grammar lessons and the most used words to deepen the basic knowledge of the language. Then I will continue to have conversations in German to increase vocabulary and to give confidence in dialogue and in any case in speaking the language in real scenarios. The most important thing by learning a new language is to learn it through hearing and speaking. Being difficult at first to formulate sentences will then become easier and easier and thus you arrive at a fluent and confident way to speak the new language. For myself I learned Italian three years ago with this method so I also know what it is like to learn a language and I can help you with my teaching to learn German that way. I can not wait to start! greetings Veronika Read more

I'm a certified Italian teacher based in my hometown Florence. I spent my childhood in a small village in the Chianti countryside and I always... loved to explore curious aspects of different languages. I studied Arabic, English, French and Spanish and I like to help students with practical insights into Italian language to better fix the structures and improve pronunciation, grammar and conversation. After my studies (master degree in teaching Italian as a second language + CEDILS certificate - teaching Italian to foreign students), I taught in different contexts and countries (IIC of Beirut, private schools in Prague, companies in Malta and Florence and to many many private students!). I try each time to adapt to every student's needs, with mainly one goal: making every student enthusiastic about the learning process and more and more confident. I use a communicative approach and I can offer classes of Italian languages, cinema, culture, gestures, focuses on grammar, conversation, etc. A presto! Olivia Read more

I will help you in a simple way; conversation is really important to learn a language and even more a good method. No days spent on textbooks are needed, constancy and fun during lessons are the most important part for learning. You will see the results immediately! I studied Sciences of Linguistic Mediation at the SSML in Pisa, I graduated in 2017 and I immediately started working as a freelance translator... and teacher. In 2016 I worked as an Italian and English teacher at the NMS school in Feldkirchen, Austria, where I was able to work with children aged between 8 and 14. I have a C2 level in both English and German, therefore I am comfortable teaching both languages in addition to Italian. Furthermore, I am very flexible in regard to working hours. In my lessons, I include all aspects of learning a language (listening, speaking, writing and grammar specific). In addition, I mold the lessons to suit the needs of the individual student and their goals. I use both the traditional method and slightly more fun methods such as songs, online quizzes, videos and real online articles, so that the student can also learn everyday life lexicon. It is not necessary to buy any books because I will send the material for the lessons a few days before it. I am also available to correct students' homework outside of lessons so that we can take advantage of our hour together in the best possible way. Read more
Ciao! I'm Giada, I'm from Florence, Tuscany. I'm so curious about people who want to study italian! I love my country and my language, and I... love seeing the eyes of my students falling in love with Italian language and culture. I graduated in "Italian for foreigners" from Siena University, and I've been teaching Italian in Italy and abroad since then. I work with children, teenagers and adults, with particular attention to those with SLD, for whom I know the specific difficulties in learning a second language. I am very well organised and I am adaptable, I've always enjoyed working with various types of students with different motivations for learning: I centre my work on the needs and abilities of the students, my approach and methods adapt from time to time to the learning style and needs of the student, that's why the trial lesson is so important: to know each other and to plan the whole course. Unless the student already has his workbook, I provide all the materials necessary for my lessons, and create a virtual classroom on an online platform, very useful for the student who in this way has an overview of the course and can always go and review past lessons. I speak four languages, I attended linguistic high school and studied languages at university, so I know what it means to learn a language and I have many tips and suggestions to give to make the most of everyone's potential. Obviously, I don't have miraculous methods to teach and there are no magic formulas to learn another language, but with the right motivation and a little commitment we can go very far! Italy is an amazing country and Italian is a fascinating language, what are you waiting for? I would be flatterd to help you learning my language and discovering the beauty of my culture! I have always received extremely positive feedbacks from my students, and I still keep in touch with each one of them! Oh, one last thing: I always try to have fun during my lessons, because if I'm bored, the students are bored too. So I always propose new, interactive and attractive materials, I love using videos, songs, newspaper articles and multimedia applications for language learning, to keep motivation high and make learning a fluid and pleasant process. To get to know me better, book a trial lesson, I'm waiting for you! Read more
