Hi everyone! This is Mariela, from Argentina. Let me introduce myself a little bit so you know me better:)
I hold a teaching degree, which I earned in 2019 from the Institute of Teachers in my hometown. Additionally, I completed a 150-hour course in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE), which has given me specialized skills in language instruction. This combination of formal education and specific training in ELE enables me to effectively teach Spanish to students of all levels and adapt my methods to fit their unique needs.
My teaching approach is interactive and student-centered. I believe that the best way to learn a language is through active practice, so I incorporate a mix of conversation, cultural insights, and structured exercises. Each class is designed to build students' confidence and fluency, focusing on real-life scenarios that make the language relevant and practical. I always aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions, as this is key to effective language learning.
I use a variety of resources to keep lessons engaging and informative. My materials include authentic Spanish texts, practical exercises, interactive online platforms, and visual aids to reinforce key concepts. For grammar and vocabulary, I provide worksheets, digital flashcards, and real-world examples to help students retain and apply what they learn. Additionally, I like to introduce cultural materials such as articles, videos, and audio clips, which offer students a deeper understanding of the Spanish-speaking world.
I am dedicated to helping my students reach their language goals and build skills that will serve them in their everyday lives. I look forward to guiding you on this journey with a customized, engaging approach to learning Spanish!
