Dear future student, during my language teaching practice I've worked with over thirty individuals. Some of them pursued the language exam, some just used it for their everyday life in Slovenia, or with Slovene partner. Despite certain routine, the main reason for my work still very exciting for me, is due to the individual relationship and approach with respective person. Since I live abroad myself, it is important to stay in touch with my native tongue. This practice helps me never to feel "Saudade", as Portuguese say, or "Sevdah" as Bosnians say. The word Slovenians could use is "domotožje". It is made of two parts: "dom", meaning "home"; and noun "otožnost" - feeling sad, down. Similar to being home sick, right? Well, make sure my love for my native language is contagious!
