I hold a master's degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures (French and English). I have also earned a certificate in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language (second-level DILS-PG, University for Foreigners of Perugia, 2022), and I am a qualified examiner for the Speaking Section of the CELI exam. Moreover, I have specialized in Teaching Italian Pronunciation and Phonetics.
I worked as an Italian language assistant in middle and high schools in Nice (France) in 2014/15 and 2016/17 for a total of over 500 hours, creating and implementing listening and oral language practice activities to help students improve their oral skills and their knowledge of the Italian culture. I have been teaching Italian online to adult foreign students of different levels (A1 to B2) for almost one year and have gained over 400 hours of experience.
The motivation of my students is the core of my teaching practice. I define language learning goals together with my students, based on their specific needs and interests. In my classes I use both textbooks with a communicative approach and authentic materials such as videos, audios and news articles.
