I am Noemi, I am Italian and I live in Sicily, an island surrounded by the sea and where the sun always shines.
I am a sunny, open-minded, very helpful, creative, and curious person.
I am passionate about art and literature, geopolitics, and human rights. I love nature and animals, my best friend is called Pongo and he is a Cavalier King puppy. I love to travel and compare myself with cultures and lifestyles different from mine. Reading and painting are my favorite hobbies.
Since I was a child I have always dreamed of becoming an Italian language teacher to foreign students, so I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature and later specialized in International Trade Relations.
I speak English and French fluently, I also studied German and recently started to study Spanish as a self-taught teacher.
After graduating I managed to realize my biggest dream and for many years now I have been teaching Italian to foreigners. I have taught students of all ages and in many countries around the world through online or presence classes.
My favorite method is Learning by doing, we learn by talking and simulating real-life situations, but also singing and cooking together or in video-calling. We learn grammar by reading current affairs texts depending on the level of the student.
My pupils have become my closest friends.
My motto is: Whoever finds a pupil, finds a treasure!
When I teach Italian I am overjoyed because I can transmit to my students something that is inside me: culture and traditions, the Italian way of life, in short! Only a mother tongue teacher can enthusiastically convey the nuances of her language and make you feel in Italy even during an online lesson.
The Italian language is spoken by almost 80 million people. Italian learners are fascinated by its history and the sound of its words, they love Italy, art, fashion, Italian cuisine. Italian is the language of love and it is a beautiful language.
What are you waiting to learn Italian with me? I can't wait to meet you!
Good luck to all of you who are studying Italian! I believe in you!
