There is a saying that a teacher is only as good as what they know. If a teacher lacks knowledge in a subject, that dearth of understanding is passed along to the students. I strongly believe that my passion is infectious and my love of a subject matter inspires students to learn more, dig deeper, and think harder about it, so my passion inspires deeper knowledge. My teaching approach isn’t limited to having the right answers to questions posed by students. I do my utmost best to expand the discussion with vivid examples, amusing illustrative anecdotes, and relevant facts.
My background and passion for education position me to significantly impact the study course of students. My inherent passion for fostering collaborative, fun-loving, and engaging learning environments has successfully developed productive and accomplished English language students.
My teaching methods incorporate an awareness of different learning styles and teaching modalities that are appealing to different age groups. I try to make my lessons a safe and fun-loving environment for mistakes; I exercise patience to make sure students learn at a convenient pace. Additionally, I have deep knowledge and passion for their subject matter and the ability to build caring relationships with students.
I understand that the students I interact with have different personalities, learning styles, and preferences. My ESL teaching strategy is one that integrates a variety of methods and techniques appealing to this diversity of students while allowing me to maintain relative flexibility to adapt to various classroom situations. My teaching styles will incorporate visual, Aural(auditory), Verbal (Linguistic), Logical, Social (Interpersonal) styles.
More so, my English lessons will include free conversations, Original materials (daily news, articles, describing pictures), Vocabulary, Grammar, Reading, Writing lessons, IELTS, and TOEFL preparatory lessons.
