Hi I'm Gianluca from Italy. I studied the degree of History in the Unversita Federico II in Naples. I've always loved languages and different... cultures. I decided to move to Mexico in 2012 where I learn spanish and I'd had the chance to work and get experience. In 2014 I had an appointment with the aggregate cultural of the Italian Institute of Culture in Mexico City, Mr. Gianni Vinciguerra, for issues related to the promotion of language, art and culture Italian Italian in the italian department of the Autonomous State University of Hidalgo (UAEH) and in the state of Hidalgo in general. I worked on translations for Mr. Governor of the State of Hidalgo, Spanish-Italian-English, through the Secretariat of Tourism and Culture of the state of Hidalgo. Hello! My name is Manuela. I am Italian and I am ready to accompany you on a stimulating learning path of the Italian language and culture. The... desire to understand people of other countries has pushed me to study foreign languages since I was in high school. After linguistic studies at the University (English, Russian, French), I have been working for a long time in the industrial sector, which gave me the opportunity to travel a lot around the world and to live and work abroad for several years. I experienced on myself the importance of being able to use in a proper way a foreign language to better communicate in every situation as well as the importance to understand the local culture of the country you are visiting. Teaching is a new challenge for me but I professionally prepared for my new career. I completed a Master in teaching Italian as a foreign language at the Catholic University of Milan, I got CEDILS certification (certification in teaching Italian as second language) from Ca' Foscari University in Venice and during my internship I specialized in online teaching. Presently I am teaching to adults who are in Italy to find job as well as to university students taking part in the Erasmus programme. My lessons will be based on a practical approach to the use of the language. Based on the interests and needs of the each student, I will build a path in which in each lesson we will practice all the skills: listening comprehension, speaking, writing, reading. We will go to the discovery of grammar rules in a funny way so you'll remember them with no pain. In each lesson I will propose as well a cultural or social aspect to get to know Italy better and to allow the student to have the tools to understand the Italian mentality and appreciate the Italian lifestyle. I am an English teacher, I lived in Ireland for 8 years from 2012 to December 2019. I worked there as software engineer for 4 years, and then I... studied to become a teacher, obtaining the Trinity CertTESOL certification in February 2017, since then I worked in several schools of Dublin, teaching English at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced, and across different age ranges, from teenagers to seniors, in both multilingual and monolingual classes, I had students from all over the world, in particular South America, Asia and Europe. The school I worked longer (from March 2018 to December 2019) is Ned Training Centre where I worked full time, 30 hours per week. Together with a General English program I helped my students prepare for the Cambridge exams PET and FIRST, providing them with tips and techniques to achieve better results, and giving them mock exams to familiarise themselves with the various sections. In December 2019 I obtained the Cambridge Proficiency certification, and then I came back to Italy, and I worked in secondary school, for the CLIL project, teaching Art and Science in English.
