I have been a teacher for more than 3 years. I have been teaching English in those 3 years to students aged between 7 to 17 years old. I studied... Psychology and majored in 2 modules in English which was English Literary Studies and English Language Studies. My teaching methods include student centered discussions where questions are asked in between a lesson and after for the learner to engage more with me and to see where the student is of there understanding of the lesson. The use of TPR in online teaching is also essential. It helps the learner comprehend what is being taught and keeps the lesson fun. Another teaching method of mine I abide by is to always build a relationship with the student or students and this allows the student to be more open with the teacher if they are struggling perhaps he/she would feel more comfortable asking the teacher questions based on what the student doesn't understand. I have fun activities to offer with the use of materials found online and materials I have in my class. There is also a test learners can take on the Cambridge Assessment English website.
