NT2-lessons The Dutch language lessons might concern the same topics, but NT2 (Dutch as second language) lessons usually focus on the basics of the language (listening, speaking, conversation, reading, writing) related to everyday language use (think of meeting people, sending emails, shopping etc.). This is conform the A2-level, tested in the Dutch Inburgering exam. If you want to study Dutch for work or study you will need B1-level (Staatsexamen-NT2 I) or B2-level (Staatsexamen-NT2 II). Understandability is always what matters not a perfect use of grammar (although this aspect is not unimportant). Sources For my lessons I usually select a book (from a well-known publisher) that matches your wishes. This way all important ingredients of langage learning (listening, reading, writing and speaking) will be covered. If necessary I will look for additional materials, which will garantee a custom-made approach. Background I have studied English Language & Culture at Leiden University (BA en MA) and have much experience as a lecturer at Delft University of Technology. I also teached at a secondary school (ISK, Internationale Schakelklas) in Delft. For many years now I have provided lessons (for both groups and individuals) groepslessen, I coach students with their thesis writing (which includes students with dyslexia) with good results. If you want to improve a single topic or prepare yourself or an upcoming Staatsexamen than 1 lesson or 4 lessons will be a good choice.
