Customer service and sales internship in Spain

coLanguage organizes 1 on 1 Skype language lessons in combination with free self-study eLearning courses. As a customer service intern you help to grow the business, manage our customer service in different languages, implement digital marketing and HR strategies and perform customer satisfaction surveys. You cooperate in a young and international team in a relaxed student minded working environment. The internship takes place in Spain (Valencia) and is open for international students and Erasmus plus internships during the summer or one of the academic semesters.

Your tasks

  • Manage and improve our customer service (email, live chat, tickets from our CRM system)
  • Improve our teacher verification process, update and help to scale our teacher database
  • Recruit new teachers, screen applications and do job interviews
  • Perform customer satisfaction surveys and interviews to identify bottlenecks
  • Spot and present new marketing opportunities, help to implement them

Your Profile

  • Motivated to work with tight deadlines and ambitious targets
  • You are dedicated, reliable and you have a hands-on mentality
  • Ability to work independently and capable of taking initiative on specific projects
  • Able to process large amount of information quickly and take decisions to solve problems 
  • Excellent research skills
  • You are a student or recently graduated in a relevant study like:
    • Business
    • Economics
    • Applied economics
    • Business engineering
    • eCommerce
    • Marketing
    • Psychology
    • ... (or similar)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Your speak minimum at least one of the following languages fluent (B2 level): 
    • German
    • Dutch
    • French
    • Italian
    • Spanish
    • Turkish
    • Bulgarian
  • A positive and flexible attitude

Starting date and working hours

  • Period: flexible starting dates every semester or during the summer
