German and English classes

My name is Julia and I am from Austria (Vienna) living currently in Helsinki. I teach German online (via Skype) now for over two years and English face to face in Finnish companies. I have studied literature and German languages at the University of VIenna and have worked as a copywriter, proof reader and journalist. I have a big passion for languages myself and right now I am studying Finnish. So I know about the challenges, struggles and frustrating moments one can experience while studying a foreign language. That is why I want to get to know each of my students so I can give them the best possible teaching methods. My methods are tailor made since every student is an individual and has a different approach to learning a language. Furthermore everyone has different needs and studying techniques. I want to motivate my students but also to challenge them to strengthen their self confidence and make them overcome their fears and doubts that come automatically when learning a language. I work together with my students as a team and create a relaxed and easygoing teaching environment to make them feel at ease while getting closer to their goal. My studens´motivation and progress is the reason why I love my job and want to be part of helping people to acquire new languages.
