It's a pleasure to meet you, future student! My name's Alberto M. Alonso and I was raised in Valladolid (Castile), notorious for being birthplace of Spanish and where it's purest form is spoken according to many. Currently, I live in Madrid, a vibrant and openhearted city bursting with culture, joy and good vibes.
I first started teaching Spanish back in 2012 as an assistant teacher in Japan during an undergraduate program at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, a position I volunteered for while I was taking my BA. Back in Europe, teaching Spanish gradually became my main source of income until this very day.
In 2017 I majored in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and enjoyed an internship at International House Madrid. Finally, I decided to set up my own Spanish teaching business. My training also encompasses Humanities Studies, Asian Studies and English, a language I mastered since kindergarten through homestays in UK, courses and daily usage with family and friends.
Concerning the teaching method, expect a communicative approach aimed for natural language adquisition and fluent interaction as both the means and the ultimate goal of study.
