My name is Vincent and I am 61 years old. I have taught languages all my professional life, to adults, high school students and even to infants. I am a fully qualified French/Spanish teacher having worked in many educational establishments in Australia and in Spain. I have been living in Spain for the last 6 years, teaching English and French.
I firmly believe that learning a language can be a devastating experience for many students. It seems that whatever you do, however hard you try it just doesn't seem to sink in for some reason and many give up out of frustration at not seeing any real progress. And it is true, learning a new language is difficult and frustrating. Many successful adults are left embarrased at not being able to use simple communication in the foreign language they are trying to learn. Some teachers say try harder, do more homework, exert yourself more and some try to lessen the blow by trying to make you feel better emotionally and start lessening the difficulties and in the end reduce the challenge and the learning.
I try to be a teacher who will encourage and motivate you in order to reach your potential and who has the skills and know-how to enable you to reach your objectives.
How? By providing interesting material which is focussed on the communicative method and with an understanding of structures and grammar. Also by putting your needs first and giving you the support you need in order to enjoy the learning.
