Hi, I´m Nancy and I'm originally from Paraguay. I have a C2 level of English(proficient). I moved to the Netherlands over a year ago and my... current level of Dutch is B1 (intermediate). I have over 12 years of experience teaching English to teenagers and adults at a language school. I currently work as a freelancer for a global provider of language training. I've taught General English as well as Medical and Business English one-on-one, to small and large groups. I have successfully trained students to take international English language testing exams such as the TOEFL. I also have over 4 years of experience teaching Spanish language and culture. If you want to learn Spanish or English to work, study or visit countries in which these beautiful languages are spoken, I might be the right teacher for you! I offer personalized lessons that are fun, interactive and based on what my students need and want to learn. I do so through a variety of activities to help you build your skills step by step; including role-playing (based on real-life situations), Q&As, games, among others. The objective is to keep you talking! Don’t worry about making mistakes; in fact, making mistakes and learning from them help you get better. Reviewing is an important part of my classes. I'm always going back and forth, checking if you still remember content introduced in previous classes. Before we start our lessons, I need to know your reasons for learning either English or Spanish.. In case you already have some knowledge, I will need to determine what your exact level is. Once I find out about your needs, interests, and level, I will be able to select the right materials and design the right course for you. We can either work with a textbook (plus extra-materials) or with my own teaching materials. I usually make use of videos, slides, worksheets, and other teaching resources.
