I have been a Spanish teacher for 20 years. I give lessons that are as fun as they are effective. I worked in Portugal, in the wonderful city... of Porto, where I managed a language center dedicated to teaching Spanish to companies. I supervised teachers and counselors in a pedagogical and didactic manner in accordance with our philosophy (the communicative approach). I also had the opportunity to collaborate with the Institute of Professional Training of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid which, together with the University of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), created exams for Spanish for the business world. At the same time, I continued to teach as a Spanish teacher in training centers and in companies (courses for groups and private courses for managers). I have taught in the following areas: commercial, legal, health, tourism, etc., as well as specific courses for entering the University of Medicine in Spain or preparing for the DELE exams of the Cervantes Institute, all levels (A1- A2, B1- B2, C1- C2). In 2010, I obtained a Professional Masters to teach in Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Porto. LESSONS We will practice the language in a daily and contemporary context or in a more professional or business context. Having already given courses in educational centers, at home and in group and private lessons; I really feel in my element when I teach languages. I offer Spanish courses tailored to your goals because I always like to adapt my methodology to the students, according to their interests and needs. I base my lessons on the direct method. I prioritize the oral proficiency of the language, so I only speak Spanish, even for beginners! My pedagogy allows you to progress quickly and to put yourself in a situation with real cases of communication. My classes are designed to strengthen oral fluency, consolidate grammar and vocabulary, but also provide cultural elements necessary for student autonomy. All this in a friendly and sharing atmosphere. I love to teach, I love languages, I love students, the daily contact with them, the mutual learning that is established, as well as the friendship and complicity that is achieved over time.
