One day, Jean, a French boy, came to my school and told me (in French, eh!): "Hello, I have been studying Italian for 6 months, but I can't... speak". I looked at him a little surprised. We made a program with its 10 precise objectives, including: knowing how to introduce yourself and tell your week, go to a restaurant and interact, write an e-mail to ask for information, talk and describe the holidays, go shopping , etc. So we dedicated 3-4 lessons to each goal.
