I have been giving English courses since 2016. I worked with Studentenring Mainz and I also gave private lessons. The way I usually work with my students is very simple: We go through the materials together, I ask questions about what we just learned and then, we try to identify the problems together. I always make sure that the student feels comfortable to ask questions whenever needed. Then, I give some exercises and allow the student to work on it. Afterwards, I simply correct the sheet and ask for explanations depending on the results.
