**Other time slots can be made available upon request. Don't hesitate to get in touch** Native speaker from Paris with about 15 years of... teaching experience. I’m well-travelled, and I’ve lived and worked in different parts of the world (Europe, Latin America, North America, Africa, Australia and a little bit in Asia). I have a postgraduate degree (France) in Languages, Literature and Cultural Studies and I’m currently a freelance translator. I’ve previously worked at universities in France and abroad (South Africa/Australia) and have a solid experience in teaching (French Language, Literature, Philosophy, Cultural Studies, Creative Writing, etc.), designing courses, evaluating and guiding students, preparing students for exams/job interviews/professional presentations, managing a Language and Literature department at the university, presenting papers at academic conferences worldwide, publishing, translating and journalism. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach people with different profiles and from various backgrounds: international professionals, university students, beginner translators and teachers, high school students, retirees, travellers, francophiles, children (help with homework), etc. Being an open-minded, flexible and patient teacher, I enjoy helping others to discover their potential and to explore it. Adapting myself to my students' needs, pace and objectives is essential for me, and designing the best way to work with each student is very stimulating and rewarding. After the initial introductory lesson, I will design customised lesson plans that will evolve as you progress. We can also, at any time during the programme, change our working method if you wish to do so. I remain very flexible in that regard. The learning materials will be varied, and we will choose together the themes and aspects of French language to be covered, in line with your objectives. In any case, I am very attentive in general, so please don't hesitate to make any suggestions. Regardless of your level and objectives, I'm sure that we can find the best way possible to share and enjoy this French language adventure together. Read more

Hello I'm Davit I've been teaching French language and literature since 2016 to students from diverse backgrounds, ages, cultures and levels. I... have a Master's Degree in FLE (French as a foreign language). I offer instant or informal tutoring based on speaking, exam preparation, job interview or immigration preparatory lessons. I can provide you with a fast learning program adapted to your goals.I have successfully guided my private students toward fluency from beginning levels to advanced. I do my best to make my lessons as fun and interactive as possible :) The most important for me is that my students can gain confidence in their speaking skills. Organization of the class: - Learning goals will be explained:what is the student going to be able to do at the end of the lesson? - Introduction to identify the topic of the lesson. (we can use videos, short dialogues, pictures...) - Study of the new vocabulary, grammar patterns + exercises. We can do speaking activities and/or writing activities. - At the end of the class, we will review together the weak/strong points of the student and what he should do to improve his speaking skills. - The 4 language skills will be used during my class: listening, speaking, writing and reading. We can focus on one of the 4 skills if necessary. This is an active learning class tailored to the needs of the student. Read more
French as a Second Language (FSL) online, native teacher, all levels. Preparation for official exams (DELF, TCF)
WHAT I OFFER: Online French as a second language (FSL) courses for all levels, preparation for official exams (DELF, DALF, TCF), correction of... academic work, translations, preparation for job interviews or public speeches. I also teach Spanish, as I speak it fluently and know about teaching techniques. MY METHODOLOGY: I focus on the student, my priority. First I find out what they know, and what their objectives and motivations are. Next, we define together a way forward. Thus, my classes are customized, and based on every student’s needs. I make sure the learning atmosphere is mellow and agreeable, but never forget that my aim is the student’s improvement. Enjoyment contributes to progress, but some discipline is also necessary. I am used to balancing these two needs. WHO I AM: Having taught FSL full-time for 15 years and obtained the DAEFLE (Diploma of Aptitude in Teaching French as a Foreign Language) from the Alliance Française Paris allows me to balance the two elements a good teacher needs: experience and theory. I have worked with people of all levels, from beginners to very advanced, and all ages, from 6 to 86 years old. I also have a great deal of experience in the DELF/DALF tests preparation, with over 90% of success. I have known for a long time that teaching was my vocation. I like sharing knowledge with others, helping them improve, and feeling that at the end of the day they know more than before. Loving my job and feeling useful is what motivates me to get up every day with a smile. After a science baccalaureate, I studied audiovisual communication, because I have always been fond of transmitting information. However, I quickly realized I needed a more direct form of contact. During a trip to South America, I started teaching private classes, and immediately understood that was the path I had to follow. WHY I AM A GOOD TEACHER: Extensive experience allows me to go fast with quick learners, and to be extremely patient with those who need more time. I have learnt that there isn’t just one way of teaching something, and that some people have a preference for auditory, visual or action-oriented learning. As a private teacher, my priority is to listen to my student in order to adapt my methods to their needs. Not only do I teach languages, I also provide my students with tools for self-teaching and making progress between classes, allowing them to maximize their investment. I regularly research the latest teaching tools, the evolution of teaching methods, and the neuropsychological findings in that area. This is a surprisingly vast topic. MY CREDENTIALS: You will find on my LinkedIn page many letters of recommendation from my students. https://www.linkedin.com/in/benoit-cassagnau-2b2179176/ Read more
