I have been a teacher for more than 20 years. I am French and I studied English in France but also in England. I live in Indonesia. I always choose subjects related to my students' background and environment, always in context and using as many authentic documents as I can. My teaching really goes beyond mere language learning but provides openness to different cultures (French but also English, American and Australian) English and French are real passions for me and I love comparing and studying both languages through my readings and different language contacts. Teaching a language is loving it and understanding it perfectly. My advantage is to know both English and French and to be able to explain to non-French or non-English speakers how things work, make relevant comparisons when possible.
