I have been a full time English teacher for 20+ years - this is not a part time job for me. I am an expert in teaching language testing systems,... business English, grammar, and general conversation. With my experience as an IELTS examiner I have guided many students through IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and other language testing systems. I have an extensive knowledge of grammar and also work online doing essay corrections for students planning to test in English. I was educated at an English public (boarding) school and left there with 'A' (advanced) levels in English, Geography, and British Government. I graduated from Bournemouth University with a Joint honours Humanities degree (Law/Geography) and later studied for a Certificate in Business Management. I have worked for and been employed directly by a variety of schools, universities, private language institutes, and have attained certificated IELTS Examiner status. I was employed for 8 years as the head teacher of the largest franchised language school in Thailand based in Bangkok (ecc Thailand). I worked as a lecturer in English at the most famous university in the North of Thailand for 3 years where I did research into the CEFR and taught Business English, English for negotiation, English for public speaking etc. I was also employed full time for 2 years by a Fortune 500 company to teach TOEIC to 400 senior managers (Autoliv Thailand). For leisure, I enjoy time with my 8 year old son, playing with him at the beach and cooking for him.
