I took multiple private classes with Sophie to improve my French. I have lived in France when I was younger, so my level is largely based on 'my gut' feeling (mother language = Dutch). I recently started working in a French environment, therefore I wanted to feel more at ease with my language skills and have a better basic understanding of the grammar. Also: as I didn't take any language courses in the recent years, I was looking for someone patient enough to go back into the grammar to avoid it becoming overwelhming for me.

Sophie is very friendly, punctual and flexible. As she did not have any reviews at the time I wasn't sure what to expect: it has been a pleasure to work with her and would definitely recommend her if you are learning French with a Dutch background or the opposite. Her work/studies as a translator/linguistic studies and attitude towards teaching have been really wonderful. I would 100% recommend booking a class with Sophie!
