Ahoj! I am a Czech national who has lived in Nottingham, UK, for the last 10 years.
My typical lesson consists of grammar, conversation and games, but I can be very flexible, depending on your preferences.
I believe that learning a foreign language should be fun and that part of all learning is making mistakes.
I have plenty of my own materials prepared for each lesson (vocabulary, grammar and exercises) but we can follow your own files/textbooks if you have favourites.
I have many hobbies and past times, such as writing fiction and poetry (published author of a children's book, others to be published, member of Nottingham Writers Club), screenwriting (a short film Zero Tolerance was produced in April 2018), horse riding, cycling, guitar, piano, knitting and sewing. I like to work in my allotment, I have six guinea pigs and I sing in a choir. Why am I mentioning all these? Because I believe that having common interests will make our conversation more spontaneous and you will learn faster!
I'm sorry I don't offer a trial lesson but I prefer to go straight to the point, which means within the first 5 minutes or our first lesson we will be focusing on Czech alphabet and the pronunciation!
