I have a Master’s Degree in English for Special Purposes (legal, economic and technical language - in Danish the title of my degree is “cand.ling.merc.).
I have worked as a teacher for about 10 years by now, as a high school teacher and in the evening school. Here I teach English and German.
I have also worked as a translator in different companies and as a freelancer.
As a translator I am very much familiar with the Danish grammar and have also been teaching Danish grammar. So I consider myself capable of teaching Danish also.
My teaching methods consists of four elements: Read, Write, Listen and Speak. I think it is important to work with language in different ways to make the most of the course.
Another important element is to me today’s news from the media. Getting “real life” into the classroom is very important to me.
