My name is Jacobus Johannes Olivier (Yaku). I am from a beautiful country called South Africa. Teaching is my passion.
I completed my Bachelors in Theology in 2000, majoring in counseling & general education. I also completed training courses in modelling, photography, drama and acting. Educating people has always been my number one priority. I have been more involved in adult education, training people in hotels and restaurants, modelling and acting industries, and recently in 2015 I completed my Master TESOL certification and was employed at a language school in Tianjin, China. Unfortunately, due to health issues, I had to return to South Africa.
I have also completed my TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) Certificate. Teaching children has become a passion and allows a greater freedom and fun to be had in class.
My passion will always be teaching adults and children the joys of learning the English language. All the time trying to make it instructive, as well as fun.
