With my extensive experience in Special Education and knowledge of all its laws, I served as an Educational Consultant responsible for an entire district, 22 schools, and 200 special education teachers. I ensured full abidance by rules and standards, observe special education classrooms, provide psycho-educational evaluations and professional development, and lead the Development of Individual Education Plans (IEP). Moreover, I assisted general education teachers and school counselors with Response to Intervention (RtI) Kentucky System of Interventions (KSI) procedures. Finally, I worked with all students who have ASD and reading disabilities in 22 schools to better determine the issues affecting their development and provide recommendations to improve their learning.
I worked with students that have ASD and Dyslexia. I assessed their abilities, determined their educational needs, and developed Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for them. In addition, I evaluated their performance and reported to their parents as well as to the school administration.
