In the Bulgarian language the nouns have singular and plural forms.

    1. Number of masculine nouns

The typical way to form the plural form of the masculine nouns is by adding - И in the ending of the word. If the masculine noun is ending on -Й, we just replace it with -И.

     Singular form

    един

     Plural form

    много

     - consonant   сандвич  сандвичи
    - й  музей  музеи

    Masculine nouns ending in -А/-Я

In this case we form the plural in the following way:

баща - бащи   father - fathers
роднина - роднини   relative - relatives
съдия - съдии  judge - judges
