Hello, I am Daniela, I can help you learn Bulgarian. I am originally from Sofia, Bulgaria. I have a passion for languages; I speak fluent... English and Spanish, Czech and Slovenian. I helped quite a few foreigners now living in Bulgarian to get more conversational and confident speaking Bulgarian. Of course, I teach Bulgarian to students living outside of Bulgaria who are motivated to learn our beautiful language. I am always interested to understand your motivation why learn Bulgarian and adapt fully to the needs and likes of each student. My teaching style is very interactive, I teach through real-life situations and role plays, so my students start speaking from the first lesson. Of course, we go through a grammar review, in order to help the student build a steady grammar base and build upon it. I make my lessons fun and enjoyable for every student, as I believe it is very important for the student to enjoy learning, to be looking forward to the next class. Many times we discuss culture, traditions, history and all kinds of topics that the student implies and takes a vivid interest in, and in this way, progress comes much faster. Read more

Hi, My name is Ayşegül. I have graduated from Hacettepe University the department of English Language Teaching. I'm an English teacher in a... private institution now. I can teach both English and Turkish. The first and foremost I want to start with one of my favourite quotation from Richard Henry Dana(!) (I'm not sure whether this quotation belong to him or not, but I liked it. :) “He who dares to teach must never cease to learn.” First of all we as a teacher must improve ourselves about everything such as cultural knowledge, technology, best seller book, new novel etc. We should keep up with the time and try to understand our students. Then we should know students’ interests, needs, backgrounds and their level of English / Turkish. If we know the aforementioned things, it would be more easy for us to decide what kind of materials we can use to attract their attention. Also, one of the key point is that we should motivate the students to learn. As a teacher we should teach our students why they learn the language/grammar/vocabulary etc. rather than just memorization. Regarding teaching method, we can use student centered methods. We should use examples from the real life and they can broaden students’ knowledge. Also using examples from the real life, help students to internalize the examples. I strongly believe that we should make our students acquire the language from all aspects including reading, listening, writing and speaking. All in all, as a teacher we have lots of things to do. One of the most important responsibilities of us is to help students to understand that they have the enough power and capacity to learn a language if they are decided enough. Read more
