Hello, everyone, I am Marcella, a native Italian who has moved to Switzerland to study. I have a degree in Ancient Literature with a focus on... archaeology, and in Italy I am qualified to teach literary classes. I am doing a PhD in archaeology at the University of Bern, where I teach every two semesters. I prefer to teach one-to-one or in pairs in order to make the most of my time and focus on people's needs. I prepare targeted courses, which is why I offer a trial lesson to establish the future course of the lessons. Lessons are usually always mixed, conversation and grammar using audio, video and text material. Depending on the speed at which the student intends to progress, homework assignments are structured. Try it for yourself! I look forward to seeing you online! Read more

Ciao! My name is Mauro, I am native Italian from Calabria! I am a very passionate teacher, I love to share my language and my knowledge about... Italy, and its culture, films, music, literature, arts, food!!! I firmly believe that learning is based on trust between teacher and student, and the first objective of my classes is to individuate student's objectives and preferences. My teaching methodology is integrated: I think that it is important to work on all of linguistic abilities: oral and writing comprehension and production. I also think that lessons must be as much as fun as possible, and I use a lot of authentic material: songs, films, cooking recipes, newspapers, advertising and so on... Read more

Hi, I'm Dajana, I'm 31 years old and I come from Naples. I am graduated in Foreign Languages and Litteratures and I have a II Level Master... degree in Teaching Italian as Second Language. I have teached italian to foreign people, above all adults at any age, in several NGOs and social cooperatives in the last 4 years. How will I teach you italian? By playing! I know that studying a language by reading a grammar book and mechanically completing the attached exercises can be boring and above all does not train your mind. Learning instead should be a pleasure, so I like to use small funny videos, songs, puzzles and so on. I also prefer the inductive method so that you can understand how Italian works on your own and then fix the grammatical rules together. That way you’ll learn Italian without even realizing it! But all this depends on you and how you prefer to study. I will be very happy to adopt the method that suits your case. The most important thing is that you get your goals with pleasure! Don’t you think studying can be a pleasure? Join me and you’ll find out! Cheers, Dajana Read more

I am from Calabria, but over the years I have felt at home in various places. In each one I have searched for my way and in the end in each one... I have found little clues that have allowed me to understand that I want to teach my language to those who do not yet know it. I have always loved the word, its power and the infinite possibilities it offers; at first I only thought of writing it down but there was still something missing. What use is the word if it is not shared, if it does not become an opportunity for exchange between cultures, or better, between individuals? So, between one suitcase and another, I graduated in Italian literature and specialised in journalism, then I obtained the Ditals II from the University for Foreigners of Siena and the two-year specialisation school as a teacher of Italian to foreigners at the same university. I have been teaching Italian for more than ten years: in Italy in state schools, in schools for adult migrants (Cpia in Modena and Rome) and in public schools; abroad at the Dante Alighieri in Valletta and at the University of Cork. I have a passion for music, cinema, documentaries and photography, different mo(n)es which allow me to learn and tell stories. Step by step I have become more and more aware of how much I love this job which has given me the opportunity to meet wonderfully unique people, now very often friends. I look forward to sharing more details of my experience and motivations with you. Thank you for your time consideration. Sincerely, Federica Lento Read more

Hi, I'm Francesca I have been teaching Italian to adults since 2010, individual and group lessons. I have a degree in English and French, and... I have a diploma of interpreter in German. In the summer I teach Italian in full immersion courses in Tuscany, where I live. I really enjoy helping people to learn more not only about Italian as a language but also the rich Italian culture. Usually I divide my lessons into three parts: a bit of grammar (which is unfortunately very useful...but I can teach you some tricks to learn without much effort!), a listening/reading comprehension part usually with videos, songs, docs about Italy and then ... we talk about Italy! I will provide all material, and I'll send them by email. Read more

I am a young teacher of modern foreign languages (Italian, English, and German). I hold a Master's Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures,... and a Post-Graduate Study in "Theory, Design and Didactics of Italian as a Second and/or Foreign Language. Both titles were achieved at the University of Palermo. My methodology developes starting from the learning needs of my learners after the first free lesson, then, if you choose to continue with me, I will design a learning path that perfectly fits with your learning needs. Generally speaking, the grammar is explained putting it into a real usage context, not starting from the rule and the exceptions. During my language courses there will be a consistent use of e-learning materials, such as videos, clips, audio files, word sheets, and so on. Read more
