My name is Alexandra and I was born and grown up in Paris. After linguistic high school, I was accepted to Louvre Museum school and the Sorbonne... University where I was graduated in History of Art before moving to Rome where I was graduated in Archeology at La Sapienza University. French is my mothertongue, I teached it from 2009 in addition to my work in turism. I had the possibility to be part of Upter (Università popolare di Roma) where I teached french from A1 to B2 level and I often worked as extra tutoring for students from the French school of Rome Chateaubriand. Last years, I created specific courses for who works in turism or cultural sector. I try to create custom-made lessons for each student. Usually my lessons are divided in two parts. The first part is about grammar and spelling, that’s essential for learning process. The second part is dedicated to comprehension and conversation. In that way it’s possible to work on pronunciation and practice on grammar, meanwhile speak about French culture. My basics are the books written by Maia Grégoire (ed. CLE International) and the textbook “Latitudes” (ed. Didier) used by the French cultural center of Rome “Saint Louis des Français” too.  I worked for 15 years as an educational  coordinator and trainer in French with public FLE on one hand: nurses of private hospitals... of the city, professional rugby players of the local team,engineers of Airbus Germany in Toulouse, with an Austrian manager of a regional factory ...But in  parallel to this public, I accompanied in their social and professional integration  people in situation of analphabetism or illiterates.I am an examiner for the TCF (Test of level)I also prepared learners for  DELF and for  DALF C1.My first course, free of charge, allows to get acquainted, the learner expresses its needs there, its availability and objectives and a schedule is established. A level equal to A2  is required (it means to be able to present oneself, to present its family, to speak about the own country, to expose projects....). I don't teach complete beginners. European Languages Framework: A2 level " Can interact with reasonable ease in structured situations and short conversations, provided the other person helps if necessary. Can manage simple, routine exchanges without undue effort; can ask and answer questions and exchange ideas and information on familiar topics in predictable everyday situations. A2 Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters to do with work and free time. Maybe you need to learn French or Romanian and the momentum is missing. Maybe you are an expert in another area, and you don’t feel to learn a... foreign language. I understand it very well because I noticed it many times in my 6 years experience as a teacher and examiner. Though, allow me to communicate with you not as a teacher, but as a permanent and impassioned language learner. Allow me to transfer to you a part of my enthusiasm and my conviction that anyone can learn a foreign language in a funny way. Firstly, I promise you that a foreign language is an open door to another mentality, to another culture. I’m writing from my experience; I’m Romanian and I’m learning French since I was 8 years old. It’s not an easy language, especially at advanced levels, yet in my opinion, it’s the most elegant language. French transferred to me not only an elegant way to express myself - even in my mother tongue but also a different way of thinking; I read in French many classical French writers. During my master studies, I had also the chance to live among French students and I borrowed from them a great way to schedule a working day.
