I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have been an educator in the Ann Arbor area since 2000. That is when I graduated from the... University of Michigan. Later, I obtained a Master’s Degree in school counseling from Eastern Michigan University. In the years that followed, I taught English, theater, Spanish, and spent ten years as a high school counselor in Ann Arbor. I will motivate students as an option with spelling b’s, audios, drilling, 5-minute warmers, and taking tests during mid-week to grade their... level of understanding in English. I will also have a presentation of materials that will be able to hear the pronunciation of words and allow students a chance to do presentations as well. I would integrate scenarios when the student feels ready is to role-play and he or she will imagine they are working in the industry as employees or workers in the hospital, hotel, and restaurant. This way they can be attuned to what is expected of them in customer relations settings. Another method to communicate with others is the social media by posting comments on Facebook, Wiki spaces, and Twitter. The most popular messenger is skype this will give the students a chance to interact and speak to each other.
