I love foreign... languages and two years ago, after taking my Bachelor Degree in Political and International Sciences at the University of Bologna I took my CELTA degree ( Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at the British Council Institute in Krakow. From that moment on I have been teaching many different students of different age and background, such as employees, pupils, teenagers and military forces; preparing them for Language Certifications as long as school or University exams, I am currently working as TEFL teacher in Italy where I have also studied and taken my University degree. Hello! My name is Maria and I am a passionate and experienced online English teacher. I started my career as an English language teacher in... 2008 and soon became very passionate about language learning and teaching. This culminated in a Masters degree in second-language acquisition and a CELTA Certificate from Dundee College. I specialised in Trinity and Cambridge exams and also in conversational English for practical and everyday use. During my teaching career, I have lived in Spain, the UK and China. I also worked as a Spanish teacher as well as a Director of Studies for different summer schools in the UK. I have had students at all different levels, from beginner to advanced. These have always been great experiences as they have helped me to explore my other passions of travelling and learning new languages.
