Let me help you improve your English - at any level - for any purpose. I am a native English speaker with a Master's degree in English, a... Bachelor of Science degree and a CELTA teaching qualification. I have been teaching for four years. As a copy-editor, I have been helping people improve their written English for over ten years (so yes, I can edit documents for you). Interviews: send me your CV and the job description and I will help you prepare. Children's courses also available. Ready for certification? I will help you get you ready for English language proficiency exams (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, OET, C1 (CAE), C2 (CPE).) We CAN meet free of charge (just book a FREE CHAT) to discuss your learning needs/my teaching methods. However, I do not offer free lessons. It is useful if you take a quick online test to establish a starting point: https://www.cambridgeenglish.org/test-your-english/general-english/ Please let me know the results A1/2 B1/2 C1/2. If you need to reschedule, please do so 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. NB If you are writing a test like IELTS or TOEFL 'in a month or two' and you need to obtain a minimum score to enter a university, remember that according to education bodies like British Council and Cambridge English, it takes an average of 120-130 lesson hours to move from one level or band to the next. So with 'one or two' months, you need to already be at B2 or Upper Intermediate level to start preparing. Read more

Do you perceive English as an obstacle? Not anymore! We will overcome it together by catering lessons to meet your needs, making them engaging,... and addressing topics that deal with real-life situations. I come from the United-States and have been working as a native English teacher for more than 5 years. Predominantly, I have taught professionals who needed to expand their business vocabulary and speak with confidence. I've also taught clients who asked for tailored lessons for an exam preparation such as IELTS. This experience has been enriching and has exposed me to clients from different walks of life. I've learned to create a positive and stress-free environment while always keeping the learner's objectives in mind. Earning the TEFL has reinforced these principles in me and reminded me of certain points such as reducing Teacher Talking Time and being authentic. My method is to first have an idea about your level and objectives. Then we will focus on communicative skills, and we will bring up subjects of your interest while addressing practical vocabulary terms and grammar. Finally, at the end of the lesson, you will be able to use the newly learned terms and structures in a discussion and in your own way. Let's embrace this new challenge! See you soon. Joudy Read more

Do you want to show off next time you go on holiday to Italy? Do you already speak Italian and you want to improve? Do you need to deal with... Italians who only speak their language? Or maybe you need a little help with your English? That can happen and I can help you. I’m an Italian native speaker and I graduated in Linguistics following my interest for languages. My first experience as Italian teacher goes back to 2007 as a traineeship for Centro Linguistico Il Mulino in Padua teaching students and tourists of levels A1 and A2. After graduating I got a TESOL certificate to teach English and I spent a few years working as a teacher of English and Italian both in Italy and abroad. Having worked with students whose age spanned from 4 to 70 years old, beginners to advanced, I developed a more dynamic teaching method than what is usually adopted for the traditional scholastic system. For me effective communication comes first and then, when my students are familiar enough with vocabulary and how to use it I will explain grammar and theory. I use printable sheets, audio files, videos, role games, songs, books and I like to make each lesson a bit different than the previous one by using several teaching materials. I pay a lot of attention to my students’ needs and requests and I plan my lessons keeping an eye on that. Read more
Hi, I'm Amrit :) I am a certified native English language teacher from London, the UK. I have been teaching English for 18 years to students... worldwide. I have a CELTA, Master's and Bachelor's degree. I am specialized in academic English for standard tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, CAE, FCE and Trinity exams. I am also specialized in Business English for presentations, meetings, negotiations and communication skills. Finally, I really enjoy giving general conversation lessons, improving vocabulary, accuracy, fluency and confidence. I am also open to other requests. My lessons are communicative, engaging, motivating and fun. All lessons are designed so that students can meet their objectives. It is important for me that students practice speaking as much as possible. Lessons are focused around a task, based on the lesson aim. Lessons require maximum participation by students. A final review at the end of the lesson will cover main errors and pronunciation corrections. For standard tests I use materials from the official exam association. For Business English I use a mix of authentic business materials (video clips, articles) and business language materials from quality sources such as Cambridge, Oxford and the British Council. For general conversation I use authentic materials (video clips, articles) and general English materials from quality sources such as Cambridge, Oxford and the British Council. If the student has special requests, I am open to all suggestions. Read more

Self-study video course in Bulgarian for total beginners and Low-Intermediate ... learners: https://www.skillshare.com/r/profile/Zlatko-Zlatev/667906469?gr_tch_ref=off Hello, My name is Zlatko. I believe that learning Bulgarian online with me gives you the best of both worlds: fast progress and enjoyment.Taking on the challenge to learn a new language is impressive. The reasons might be different. Some people give it a go because they just like new things. Others need to learn a new language because they are moving to a country where the language is spoken. Remember that whatever your reason is, it is your motivation that is the key to successful learning. Who am I and why to pick me: - online and face-to-face teaching experience: over 15 years helping hundreds of students achieve their language goals - flexibility: willing to tailor my techniques to both your interests and specific needs - patience and excellent listening skills - honesty and collaboration: let's build trust and consider our work as a partnership - native Bulgarian speaker with oustanding educational background - sense of humour Material All lessons are interlinked to promote better and more memorable learning, with the flexibility to pick out key sections to focus on certain language points. All language is clearly signposted and scaffolded so there is great clarity of progression of learning - students can really feel they are getting somewhere. In general, my teaching style includes, but is not limited to: - speaking practice through role-play activities - stotytelling and discussions - gap filling excercises - listening comprehension - vocabulary development - accent reduction How does that grab you? If interested, drop me a line and we will discuss your language goals and expectations. I OFFER a 15 MINUTE TRIAL LESSON TO DEMONSTRATE WHAT MY TEACHING METHOD LOOKS LIKE. Hope to see you soon. Here are a few tips on how to get the most out of every lesson: 1. Review what you covered in your previous lesson. 2. Focus on things you had difficulty with. I will definitely go over them. 3. It is always a great idea to take notes during your lessons. It helps you stay more focused on what you are learning. 4. Feel free to ask me if anything has come up since your last lesson that you want clarification on. Your questions do not have to be prior lesson related, maybe you are just curious about how to say something. 5. Be sure you have completed your homework assignments. If you were not able to complete them, make notes about what stumped you. Were the instructions not clear enough, was the vocabulary beyond your level of comprehension, were the grammar rules too overwhelming, was there too much homework for the time you had planned to spend on it, and so on. 6. Contact me prior to your next lesson if there are any issues or changes you would like to make me aware of so I can have a chance to make changes to your learning plan. I look forward to seeing you in my lessons. Read more
