Hello, my name is Anna, I’m 31 years old and I’m from Girona, a town in the region of Catalunya, in the north-east of Spain, 100 km north... from Barcelona, so I grew up speaking two languages Spanish and Catalan. I love people and nature, so I studied environmental education and my professional experience it has always been relationated with people and teaching. I'm also aerial silks instructor and I love reading and listening music. In 2018 I spent a year in Ireland where I worked with kids. There, I discovered spanish classes! This year I started the degree of Catalan Philology and I love it! What I enjoy most about teaching online is that I can meet people from around the world and exchange experiences and knowledge. I’m also studying to improve my English, so I know how hard it can be to learn a new language. That’s why I think it’s very important to make learners feel comfortable in class. My classes are thought for people who want to learn or improve their Spanish or Catalan skills. I'm a very patient person, so if you are a beginer don't panic! I'll try to adapt to your needs, I like to work in a oral way, but we are going to work with online materials too. Hello, everybody! My name is Martina, I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting (English and German) from Pompeu Fabra University in... Barcelona. I am currently studying for a Master's degree in Medical Translation and, upon completion, I would like to study for a PhD abroad, in Germany, where I lived for a year. I taught Spanish for foreigners there, and when I returned to Spain, I wanted to continue teaching, but the covid-19 arrived. In Spain, I have been teaching primary, secondary and high school students since I was 16 years old, in different schools, institutes and academies. I am currently 23 years old and already have a lot of experience in the world of teaching, normally with young students, but I can also teach adults. My level of English is C2, so I have complete professional competence, and my mother tongues are Spanish and Catalan. My teaching methods are based on the preferences of the students, depending on the reason for their learning, I would approach it in one way or another. However, I always start from the four main areas for learning any language: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
